  • Charity Mall. Over 200 online shops with 100% of the site's retail commissions going to the purchaser's choice of charity from the dozens available.
  • Ethical Consumer. Magazine and research database for conscientious shoppers.
  • Ethical Junction. (UK) Offers a very wide range of well-known ethical shopping resources, from consumer and retail shopping (including Fair Trade goods) to business and professional services.
  • Ethical Shopper. (USA) Largest internet resource on ethical products and services.
  • Ethical Trade Shop (UK). Run by Brighton Peace and Environment Centre and using suppliers who support ethical/eco/cruelty-free/fair trade practices.
  • Free2Give (UK) Leading high street shops and retailers are all available through this dedicated fundraising site for various Animal, Children, Disability, Environmental, Health, and Humanitarian UK charities. A percentage of your purchase goes to your chosen charity.
  • Go-Help. (UK) Innovative shopping portal with scores of established retailers, that donates money to your chosen school or charity.
  • GreaterGood (USA). Popular cause-related e-commerce site offering well-known names and services (Amazon Books, etc), with up to 15% of each purchase going to charities including Save the Children, United Nations World Food Programme, and many others.
  • Green Direct. Directories of environmentally-friendly and ethical companies.
  • Green Guide Online. UK Gateway to sustainable consumerism, covering environmental, ethical and fairtrade products and services plus the latest news, reviews and stories.
  • Green Index. Online version of the famous book, with over 10,000 'green' suppliers of products and services in the UK.
  • Shop Ethic. Shopping Mall offering goods and services from ethical and social businesses from across Europe. Purchases create employment and help disadvantaged people.

    Greeting Cards
   

In addition, here are some selected free greeting card services which F/friends may find sympathetic to their beliefs or concerns.

  • E-Cards. Every card sent helps generate a donation for Nature. (World Wildlife Fund and The Nature Conservancy.)

  • StopTorture. Amnesty International's campaigning online postcards.

We are currently looking for electronic greetings cards designed specifically for, or by, Quakers, however, 'real' cards can be ordered online, from the following:-

  • Quaker Tapestry. Individual postcards of all 77 panels of the famous narrative embroidery, showing the story of the Quakers.
